Here are some tips and tricks that can help you make the perfect Besan Ki Burfi:
- Roasting besan (gram flour) properly is the key to getting the right texture and flavor for your burfi. Keep stirring the besan continuously on low flame until it turns golden brown in color and starts giving a nutty aroma.
- While making sugar syrup, make sure to keep the flame low and stir continuously to avoid any lumps or crystals from forming.
- Adding ghee (clarified butter) is essential for the taste and texture of the burfi. However, do not add too much as it can make the burfi too greasy.
- Adding a pinch of cardamom powder to the mixture can enhance its flavor and aroma.
- When spreading the burfi mixture on a greased plate, make sure to do it quickly before it starts to solidify.
- Cutting the burfi into pieces can be tricky. You can dip the knife in warm water before cutting to get neat and clean cuts.
By following these tips and tricks, you can make the perfect Besan Ki Burfi that is not only delicious but also has the right texture and flavor.
