Ingredients
- 6 slices of bread
- 4 cups of milk
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder
- 10-12 chopped pistachios
- 10-12 chopped almonds
Instructions
- Cut off the edges of the bread slices and then cut them into small pieces.
- In a pan, add milk and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the bread pieces to the milk and continue to simmer on low heat for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once the bread has completely softened and the milk has thickened, add sugar and stir until it dissolves.
- Remove the pan from heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Then, add cardamom powder, chopped pistachios, and chopped almonds. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into kulfi molds or small containers and freeze for 8-10 hours or overnight.
- To serve, remove the kulfi from the molds by dipping them in warm water for a few seconds. Garnish with more chopped pistachios and almonds if desired.
